"Agents of Change" 

are Chicago Public School students empowered to make Contemporary Art that is integrated in core curriculum and  Chicago Public Schools district wide initiatives with their school community  and community at large.  Their work promotes initiatives they have elected as important and significant to who they are in the world around them.

 

The Agents of Change are in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12th working during the school day or in an after school program.

These students are diverse in their ideas, art experiences, learning needs, ethnicity, socioeconomic status and art exposure.  Educator, Mary Haddad, has collaborated with fellow educators, CPS school district, The Pulitizer Center, artist, curators, cultural institutions within the city of Chicago, the Museum of Contemporary Art , and the Art Institute of Chicago to deepen curriculum and content knowledge in an effort to facilitate meaningful experiences for the students.
